Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies include browser storage, tracking pixels and identifiers attached to online requests. They can recognise a browser, record activity or send information to another service. A tracking tool can collect information even when it does not set a conventional cookie.

Session cookies are generally intended to last for a browsing session. Persistent cookies can remain until their expiry date or until deleted. Browser restrictions and settings can shorten these periods or restore session cookies.

Google Analytics 4 helps us understand how people find and use our website, including pages viewed, visits, interactions and signup activity. Depending on the events configured, information can include browser and device details, approximate location, page and referral URLs, event times and cookie identifiers. Google receives this information to provide analytics reports. These identifiers can be personal information; we do not describe the collection as anonymous.

Meta Pixel helps us measure and improve advertising on Facebook and Instagram, including whether a website visit or signup follows an advert. Meta can receive visited-page URLs, event details and times, cookie or advertising identifiers, IP addresses and browser or device information. Meta may associate events with information it already holds about you and use them for advertising personalisation and measurement, subject to its policies and your choices.

We will only activate GA4 after analytics consent and Meta Pixel after advertising consent. Analytics permission is separate from advertising permission. Giving either does not subscribe you to marketing emails or give permission for email-open tracking.

The details below identify standard cookies associated with GA4 and Meta Pixel. The durations shown are provider defaults, not a statement that every browser retains them for that period. Settings, renewal rules and browser limits affect actual expiry.

A Meta click identifier such as _fbc may also be created when a visit follows an advertising link. Additional cookies can arise from connected features. Their names, purposes and lifetimes will be added to the current details below where used.

At the date shown above, GA4 and Meta Pixel are not loaded by the current website code, so Awae does not currently set the provider cookies listed above. If those tools are activated, they will remain blocked until you allow the relevant category.

Our consent controls let you accept optional tracking, reject it, or choose analytics and advertising separately. Optional choices start off and the relevant tools remain blocked until you agree. Refusing optional tracking will not prevent early access registration. Browsing, closing a banner or accepting the terms is not consent.

You can change or withdraw a choice as easily as you gave it. Withdrawal stops further tracking on that basis and is passed to relevant providers where required. It does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful.

Browser settings also let you block or remove cookies. Removing cookies can clear stored choices and does not automatically delete information already received by us or a provider. Blocking essential cookies may affect website functions. You can contact hello@awae.ai about your choices or request deletion under the Privacy Policy.

Our emails may contain an invisible image that indicates whether and when a message appears to have been opened. It can be associated with the recipient and message, and loading it can disclose an IP address and basic device or email-software information to our email provider. We use this information to understand engagement and improve communications. Automated image loading and image blocking make results estimates.

We will use optional email-open tracking only with prior consent specifically covering it. It is separate from website analytics, advertising and permission to receive emails. Our email measurement is limited to opens, without link-click tracking for these messages. Delivery, bounce and unsubscribe records are separate operational records.

To withdraw email-tracking consent, use any tracking-preference control provided or email hello@awae.ai. You can also unsubscribe from promotional emails. Blocking remote images in your email app can limit tracking in messages already received.

Google provides GA4 and Meta provides Meta Pixel. Hosting and email providers support the other functions described here. Providers acting as our processors handle information under our instructions and relevant contracts. Meta also has its own responsibilities for Pixel data; the Privacy Policy explains shared responsibility for collection and transmission under the applicable Meta terms.

We rely on consent for optional analytics, advertising and email-open measurement. Essential website operations and security use the legitimate interests explained in our Privacy Policy. That policy also covers overseas processing, retention, your rights and complaints. A cookie's expiry is different from the period for which collected records are retained.
